Jai is the owner of Buddha Foods. He is a former investment banker that burnt out at the age of 32 and has been languishing in a mid-life crisis ever since. A lover of fine foods, Jai has travelled the world to eat at the finest restaurants and then decided he wanted to learn to create the same dishes he came to enjoy and love. He started a journey of culinary training where he focused on street foods and peasant dishes. At the same time, he deepened himself in Buddhist teachings and this became increasingly influential in his cooking.
